East of Afton plucks its inspiration from a wide range of bluegrass and Americana greats including Bill Monroe, Mac Wiseman, Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, John Prine, The Carter Family, and many more.
But the group really comes to life in its originals, pulling from all of those traditions and forging a sound that both reveres and transcends traditional bluegrass music.
